OutdoorLiving.com sells DIY furniture plans. We collect only what we need to deliver your plans and answer your questions. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
What we collect
- When you buy a plan: your email address, the plans you bought and what you paid. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- When you order cut metal panels: your name and shipping address, so the panels can be cut and shipped to you.
- When you send a gift: your name and email, the recipient’s name and email (if we email it to them), your message and the delivery date.
- When you get the free plan or join a list: your email address.
- When you ask for a quote: your name, email, ZIP code and the details of what you asked about.
- When you visit: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To deliver your plans, keep your private plan library working and send your order emails.
- To deliver gifts on the date you chose.
- To answer your questions, quotes and refund requests.
- To send new-plan emails if you signed up for them. Write to us any time to stop them.
Your plan library link
Your library is opened by a private link instead of a password. Anyone with that link can see and download your plans, so keep it to yourself. If you think it’s been shared, write to us and we’ll issue a new one.
Who helps us run the site
We share information only with the services that make the site work, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe processes payments.
- Supabase stores orders, gifts and sign-ups.
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Resend sends our emails.
- For cut metal panels, the fabrication shop that cuts and ships them receives your name and shipping address.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The site may store small settings in your browser to make it work, and Stripe uses its own cookies during checkout to prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep your orders so your plan library keeps working and for our tax and accounting records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; we’ll delete what we’re not required to keep, and deleting it also closes your plan library.
Your choices
Write to hello@outdoorliving.com to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop our emails. We’ll answer within 30 days.
Children
The site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
