You upload one photo of your backyard or front yard and pick a look. The designer redesigns the yard right on your photo, keeping your house, fence and big trees where they are, in about 30 seconds. Then you see plants that grow in your USDA zone, the materials with rough quantities, and what it typically costs to build.
No. It's a design concept with honest estimates, the stage a landscape designer charges for first. Quantities are judged from one photo (the fence, doors and windows give the scale), so measure on site and get bids before anyone digs. The contractor brief in the package is made for exactly that.
Daylight, phone held level, standing at the back door (or at the street for a front yard) with the whole yard in one wide shot. Get the fence line and the ground in the frame. A plain yard works great; that's the point.
Small yards are where this shines: the design is scaled to the space you actually have, and you can drop a precast plunge pool into it to see if it fits before you call anyone.
A plunge pool cast in concrete in a factory, delivered on a truck and craned into place, usually in a day. Four sizes, from the 12′ × 7′ Studio to the 20′ × 10′ Max. You can try any of them in your own yard here, and get an installed price from a local pro.
Your ZIP code gives your USDA hardiness zone and region, and the plant list is picked for that zone, your sun and the look you chose, sticking to tough plants you can find at a big garden center.
Your photo and designs are private: they're stored for your design page, and only people with your link can see them. We never sell them or post them.
Try the look again or pick another; each try is a fresh take. If one fails to come through, it doesn't count. With the package you can also ask for changes in your own words.
Yes. Snap the client's yard on the first visit and show them three looks before you leave. Write to hello@outdoorliving.com about pro accounts.
